Pediatric Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is very LOW FORCE and gentle for the pediatric patient in order to correct spinal misalignment and restore proper nervous system function at an early age before it possibly becomes a life long, chronic problem.

Infant Stage: Care for the pediatric patient is so important.  From the time that they are in the womb and through the delivery process, the infant's spine is introduced to a wide variety of powerful forces and stressors that can affect how their spine is aligned and how their nervous system is functioning.   When there is an affect on the nervous system, changing how it functions, symptoms can arise.  Common symptoms seen can be colic, abnormal sleeping patterns, irregular bowel movements or straining with bowel movements, acid reflux, or difficulty latching.

Toddler Stage:  During the toddler phase, with learning to become upright and walk, a child's spine can be impacted by another variety of stressors including suffering bumps and falls along the way.  All which impact the spine and nervous system.

From beyond the Toddler years: Many children are exposed to experiences that can negatively impact their spine.  These can include sports injuries, carrying heavy backpacks, and slouching over phones, computers, and video games.  All of these can lead to symptoms if not addressed and possibly chronic problems later in life.
